My uncle refurbished/cleaned this clock and movement over 43 years ago (1982) and was not used since, this was an heirloom that was in our family. The clock winds up and runs and keeps good time, but I would suggest having a professional clockmaker check it out to see if it needs anything.Movement reads R&J Clock Co.
