Description: Up for auction is a beautiful, all original, quarter sawn oak adjustable swivel office chair. Great chair for any office - work or home. I just had the leather seat redone - never been sat in. Seat has a 2" foam support for comfortable sitting for long periods. Outstanding Mission style with a little Victorian flair in the upper back wings. This chair amazingly retains, it's excellent original finish. Great cast iron lower assembly. Appears to be made around 1888. Comes complete with a set of four vintage/antique ball bearing castors - last photo. Most - but not all - pieces of oak on this chair is quarter sawn (some people call it tiger oak). The chair will be separated from the cast iron base (only 6 screws) for shipping.
