Medal "In memory of the coronation of Emperor Nicholas II" - a commemorative medal of the Russian Empire for rewarding persons who were related to the coronation of Nicholas II, was established on May 26, 1896. Silver, chasing, beautiful patina. Front side: bas-relief of the face of Nicholas II. Inscriptions along the edge of the medal: on the left - «Б.М.НИКОЛАЙ II ИМПЕРАТОРЪ» ("B.M. Nicholas II the Emperor"), on the right - "И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОСС." ("and All-Russian autocrat"). On the back side there is horizontal inscription in two lines: «КОРОНОВАНЪ ВЪ МОСКВѢ» (Crowned in Moscow). A large imperial crown above the inscription. At the bottom of the reverse there is an arc-shaped date:«14 МАѦ 1896» (14th May 1896). The medal was on the St. Andrew's ribbon for wearing in buttonhole.
