Antique American Art Nouveau Sterling Silver & Loetz Phaenomen Art Glass Vase

Description: A fine Art Nouveau silver mounted art glass vase. Comprising a Loetz Phaenomen glass body in yellow with a silvery-blue iridescence and an Art Nouveau hand hammered Martelé type silver mounts by the Hartford Sterling Company of Philadelphia, PA. The vase is likely the product of a collaborative effort between the Loetz glass company and the Hartford Sterling Company. The mounts appear to be secured with plaster, and the base wiggles slightly. All in all, simply a wonderful Art Nouveau / Jugendstil vase! Date:Early 20th Century, circa 1900 Overall Condition:It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details:The base is secured with plaster and has a slight wiggle at the joint. There are some light bends to the silver and a few spots of persistent tarnish here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker:Loetz and Hartford Silver Company.
