Description: Antique American Federal Mahogany Sideboard Boston Circa 1810 A gorgeous American federal period mahogany sideboard, Boston, circa 1810. The sideboard features book-matched flame mahogany veneers crossbanded in mahogany, with cockbeading. With reeded and tapered legs and cookie corner tops. There is one long central drawer, flanked by two shorter drawers over two large side cabinets with shelves. The central section features a butlers desk, flanked by two short drawers over a cabinet and two wine cellarettes. The sideboard is 79 1/4" wide by 42 1/4" high by 22 1/2" deep. Condition: very good overall. The hardware has been replaced and the finish is not original. There is a split to the right side, both large cabinets, and two splits on the top. All of these due to age related shrinkage. They have all been repaired long ago. Please review all photos carefully. The sideboard comes with a key and all the locks are present.
