I am not entirely sure what the origin of this vase is; it is very similar to some examples of Awata Kyo-Yaki Kinkozan pottery, but the signature has proven difficult to identify. If you know, I would always love to learn! As far as its condition goes, it is in very good antique/vintage condition; it has no major breakage, cracks, or signs of previous repairs (no glued cracks, etc.). It may have some very superficial scratches or minor wear consistent with age or use. Quick disclaimer: it is handmade, so do be aware you might find there is some "unique charm" to it as compared to other similar examples. It is sized at approximately 7.75" tall and 4.25" in diameter. Please find any flaws listed below:It appears the rim of the vase is either flawed from the time it was made or it was perhaps chipped at some point in the past and sanded smooth again -- it is a bit wavy in one section as the 11th picture shows. No cracking associated with this, however.
