Description: Up for sale is an authentic old pulp paper mache turkey made by ATCO, Animal Trap decoy factory in Lititz PA. It was produced in the early 1950's and sold as a candy container. This is not a reproduction but the real McCoy. It is stamped on the bottom "T-3 ATCO". My mother collected primitives for 60+ years of her life and she had a collection of these old pulp paper mache candy containers pretty much for every major American holiday. The turkey measures 7 inches tall, 5½ inches across and 5½ inches deep, and it still has the original pull tab on the bottom. These are becoming harder to find and this one is in very good condition with no musty or unusual smells. Please review my high definition pictures for more condition detail.
