Description: Ceramic hand painted butter holder is in excellent condition for age. Research tells me this is from Bavaria early 20th century. There are some overpaint spots mostly under lid but occasional throughout. I’ve found no chips or cracks, gold trim is still quite bright with very light fading in localized areas. This beautiful piece is about 5.5” high with dome, under plate is 7.75” across.
