Description: This antique bottle is a unique find for collectors of modern (1900-Now) food, sauces, and condiment bottles. The H.J. Heinz sweet pickle jar #144 is a paneled glass bottle from the early 1900s, perfect for display or use in a vintage-inspired kitchen. The bottle has an interesting history and is sure to be a conversation starter. This H.J. Heinz pickle bottle was hand dug on Long Island New York in the early 2000's. It's in nice condition for a bottle that was buried for 70+ years. There are no chips or cracks but it does have a small bruise on the shoulder that isn't visible when displayed head on. I believe this bottle dates from 1908-1912 and held sweet pickle products. If you like please add us to your favorites as we will be adding more bottles as we can.
