Description: Description This amazing entryway was salvaged from a Harlem NY brownstone. Everything is made of mahogany with a dark stain. The door has a panel of newer distorted security glass at the top with 3 raised wood panels below. The front side of the door has carving on the 3 wood panels. The sidelites and transom do not have frames, they sat into the entryway and were secured by moldings. 2 panels of glass are beveled, one of the sidelite panels is thick non beveled glass. The frame came out as a single piece, the front has raised panels below the glass and fluted columns with carved capitals flanking the door. We also have the moldings from both sides. The 4 legs have carved corbels at the top, carvings below with fluting and flat recessed panels. 2 pediments have crown moldings, applied wood carvings and applied raised panels. The door measures 36 inches wide by 88.5 tall. Overall including the moldings measurements are 74.5 wide by 132.5 tall. Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. A dead bolt was added along with a metal security bar that was bolted onto the face and drilled through the door. Some of the moldings that held the glass in place are broken. The leg moldings have cut outs from where paneling joined. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: Harlem vestibule Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
