Description: Antique Cast Iron Inkstand with Glass Inkwell Penholder Missing Pat July 4, 1878. This inkstand measures approximately 7.75" Long X 6" Wide X 1.5" Tall without inkwell. with inkwell it is 3" Tall. The penholder is missing but there are holes where the penholder should have been which is shown in picture 7. The glass inkwell does not have a lid and there is a chip at the top edge shown in pictures 12 and 13. There are two small rust marks which are shown in pictures 8 and 9. On the underside, it is marked PATENTED JULY 4, 1878. Please look at all pictures as they will best describe the condition of this item.
