Description: This beautiful two-piece demi cup and saucer set from Limoges, France is a stunning example of aesthetic movement antique pottery art. The set features a decorated floral pattern, with teal and yellow coloring topped with pink flowers, hand-painted with gold edges and a glossy finish. The cup measures 2 3/8 inches in height and 2 1/4 inches in diameter, while the saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The backstamp is printed in a circle with CH FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES on both the cup and saucer, while the saucer also has the initials CFH. The set is an original and has the Charles Field Haviland Mark # 3 and CFH Mark #2, in The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain. These marks dates this beautiful demitasse cup and saucer between 1868- 1881, making them an extremely valuable antique Limoges porcelain addition to your collection. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of my description and used to show the quality and condition of my items. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very minimal paint loss, mainly to the gold accent color. I will be listing one additional aesthetic demitasse cup & saucer from this era and will reduce shipping costs if both of them are purchased by the same buyer. Please message me prior to paying so I can send an updated invoice with combined shipping costs.
