Description: Here is a vintage match holder or fairing by Conta & Boehme. See the shield mark on the bottom, also numbered but I can't read the number. It is a boy pushing a carriage or pram. Look at the detail of his facial features! He is wearing colonial style clothing with a tricorn hat and a ponytail. The white roses on the side of the carriage are in excellent condition but the leaves have some chips and I think the top of the stem is also chipped. Someone has used some green to camoflauge the chips and they are hard to see. See all pictures. Measures 4 1/2" tall, 4" long and 2 1/2" wide. Very unique and interesting piece to add to your collection! This piece comes from the estate of a well known collector in the community. He had a collection in a range of style and value of match holders, strikes and smokers sets. I acquired several of his collection and will be listing them here. Please keep checking my listings for more of his collection. SEE ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. USE THE ZOOM TO SEE DETAILS. This will be packed very carefully and sent by insured Mail. Thank you for viewing and please take a look at my other listings.
