Antique Dining Room Chairs, Oak, Claw Foot, Set of Seven #21567 Description This set of antique dining room chairs dating from the 1900's consists of one arm chair and six side chairs that features solid oak construction, one piece flared back legs, and cabriole front legs that terminate in a desirable clawfoot. Solid oak "H" stretcher joining the four legs adds sturdiness and style to the chair. Larger overall than usual and each chair's center splat has a dainty scroll design which adds to the beauty of the chair. These chairs were refinished by a previous owner, probably in the last 10 years or so in a wonderful medium oak stain, and remain in great condition with only the normal nicks and dings that come with age. The upholstery seems to be pretty good, as well. There’s a little wear mark on a couple of the seats and some small staining, but the fabric is very easy to change out on the slip cover chairs.
