Description: Wonderful aged look and great patina on this original Disston saw handle. (The Disston medallion/split nuts were previously removed and sold separately.) Ornate attractive decorative detail work. Use as replacement handle, restore it, or use in its aged state as decoration. I have not cleaned it--new owner can decide how they want it. Nice. There's a separation in the bottom part of the handle (it is firm, no wobble) and the top ear (which has a small piece absent) has what looks like a brass screw in it for stabilization. Unsure of the wood type but it weighs over half pound.
