Description: Antique EAPG McKee Prescut Fentec Pattern c.1904 Creamer, Sugar Bowl / Spooner & Covered Butter EAPG ~ Early American Pattern Glass The Fentec pattern was introduced by McKee Glass Company McKee Glass was founded by five McKee brothers in 1834 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania circa 1904 All pieces are marked at the center with "Pres Cut" mark It was the one of the first "Tec" patterns, introduced by McKee The earliest pieces in this pattern feature small teeth on the edge, which all of these pieces have This set consists of a creamer, covered butter and a spooner, which can also be used as an open sugar bowl. This pattern features hobstars, tassels and a stippled diamond motif, very deeply cut Creamer ~ 3 1/2" tall * 4" across * 5 1/2" wide including spout and handle Open Sugar Bowl / Spooner ~4" tall * 3 1/2" across * 6 1/2" wide including handles Covered Butter ~ 5 1/4" tall * 7 1/8" wide Excellent Condition ~ Condition indicative of age and history ~ Cream & Sugar/Spooner are in excellent condition, no cracks, chips, discoloration ~ Covered Butter is missing the very tip of the handle, please see the last photo- I was not aware until I saw the original catalog image. This must have happened long ago, the top of the ball is smooth to the touch and unnoticeable.
