Description: Offered is a wonderful antique silver-plated tea caddy made in England by Barker Ellis circa 1890. It measures 8" tall, 8" wide and 5" deep. It has beautiful detailing with floral and swag pretty feet and lions head handles. It is very clean on the inside, has light surface scratching on the outside to be expected and the hinge has no issues. Although it is silverplate, it has less shine, a bit pewter like and there is no plate loss. A terrific piece to add to your collection!
