Austrian, Fischer & Mieg hand painted Pastoral/Cameo/Figural Cabinet porcelain plate: Centered by an exquisite hand painted vignette, exhibiting fine details and beautiful colors. Featuring a charming beautifully rendered country scene, portraying a group of young gentlemen & ladies dressed up in a fancy and colorful Victorian clothing, dancing and playing musical instruments. All surrounded by lush pastoral setting and a serene blue sky. Surrounded by superbly decorated ornate rococo floral border with opulent heavy gilt/gold enamel accents. Exceptional porcelain plate is decorated with purple, dark pink/maroon, light pink, yellow, orange and shades of green colors over a white background. This stunning plate is further decorated with gilt foliage & scroll-work design with raised gilt scalloped border and fancy gold gilding along the edge. Gently scalloped rims with embossed swirls and elaborate gold scroll designs. Colorful flower arrangements on border of the plate near the rim. This beautiful depiction is expertly done and features a bright yellow border and wonderful gold gilt work. Sharp Details Vivid & Bursting Rich Colors Quality Piece with Attractive Subject Matter – a Rare Gem! Made by Fischer & Mieg in Pirkenhammer, Bohemia and accordingly marked on the bottom with the Fischer & Mieg crown and hammers. This mark was used between 1873 and 1918.
