The saucer has an impressed“F & M” dating between 1853 and 1873. The saucer is 6 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches and 1 inch deep. The cup measures 2 7/8 inches by 2 7/8 inches and is 2 1/4 inches tall. The most interesting feature of this set is the shape. It is inspired by the Chinese culture. The set has a rich, cobalt blue borders that are intricately gilded.
