It is of the continental school, and likely either Dutch or German in origin. There is a signature in the left lower corner that is somewhat illegible. It could be Michel Zuker. The painting has recently been cleaned, minor damage repaired and the frame restored. Nothing else is required except to hang it in a position of prominence in your home.
