The marks are faint but appear on bottom Made in France Hand Painted for HENRI BENDELIt is made of white porcelain with a glossy finish. The lettering centered in front reads: ONG: NAPOLIT: It features gilt laurel leaf in a cross hatch pattern around the lettering. As you'd expect on such an old piece some of the delicate gold is worn away but mostly it is present. Their is minor age related discoloration on the bisque (unglazed) rim of both the jar and lid. Approximate dimensions: 3 1/2" high excluding lid, the lid adds another 2 1/2" for a total height of 6", lid is 3 1/4" diameter at widest, 3" diameter top mouth. Sold "as is" with no returns accepted, as we'd hate to see this fragile piece shipped unnecessarily.
