HEMPEL CASH STORE " in historic town of GIDDINGS, TEXASTHIS CAME OUT OF A LIFETIME COLLECTION OF TEXAS TOKENS, ORIGINAL OWNER SAID THIS ONE WAS TOUGHER TO FIND....I HAVE NO CLUE, BUT SUPPOSEDLY A TOUGHER ONE TO FIND...The historic town of Giddings Texas is located in Lee County Tx....not too far from Lincoln, Carmine and Winchester Texas This came out of a small collection of Texas tokens, know little about it..do not own any TX books with meaningful rarity information. Trade token is aluminum, round, about 26mm in diameter , and it displays nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) Gallery pictures should tell you everything you need to know.
