Description: Antique Halloween Party Hat, Orange & Black, Crepe Paper Tissue Paper Wonderful antique Halloween crepe paper or tissue paper party hat, done in orange, with a black embossed die cut witch and cauldron attached to the front. I was told it dates to the 1930s or so. The paper is so thin and fragile it’s amazing it has survived as well as it has! The paper band around bottom is like light construction paper. Die cut is light cardstock. Not a toy for children, current safety standards not in effect at time of manufacture. About 7.75” tall by 11.25” wide at widest areas. CONDITION: Some normal handling wear and creasing, normal age toning and normal vintage soiling, normal edge wear and corner wear, etc. · Hat is fragile, paper is very thin. · Witch die cut is firmly attached, and is a little off center. Some creasing/tears on die cut. · Dark age toning on paper band around bottom. Band is torn in several places, couple on front and back in same areas. · Some noticeable creasing here and there, including at top and top left side. · Some creasing/on witch die cut. · Some small/minor stains, marks, specks, etc. · Orange color has likely faded, it’s pale-ish now.
