Description: This is an antique, hand carved, Buddhist, Tara amulet pendant, likely from Tibet. The stone appears to be Lava rock and the goddess Tara is hand carved on each side. Surrounding the stone is a brass frame culminating in a top loop for attaching to a necklace. The brass has pulled away some at the very top, see detail photos. The pendant measures 1 3/4" long.
