Description: An unusual find...a Japanese Dai crafted from a root burl and believed to be circa 19th Century. The finish has some loss but what is intact is a translucent coppery red. Signed as shown in the last image. 5 1/2" diameter at widest, 1 5/8" high. Good-VG overall condition with wear and finish loss but no damage. Please feel free to ask detailed questions.
