Description: Antique Japanese Meiji Period Carved Bamboo Figural Tripod Censer c.1800'sThis is a rare Meiji period carved bamboo tripod censer, circa mid to late 1800's.Carved as a cauldron supported by three kneeling figures. The bowl of the vessel is carved with a dragon weaving in & out of view, the rim with a cloud design.
