Description: A scarce antique gouache, ink and gilt painting with a calligraphy panel of the Japanese waka poem by Sone Yoshitada seen in the Hyakunin isshu. It is most likely Meiji era from the 19th century. The provenance is located verso with its gallery label. It is in very good condition overall with light wear to painting/calligraphy, some toning to mat, normal wear to frame, etc. Please see all photos for condition. A fine addition to your collection!
