Description: This is a large sized cod liver medicine bottle. This bottle is aqua and stands 9-3/4 inches tall. There is an inclusion in the shoulder that is also part of a burst bubble. The cork top lip is in very nice condition. The embossing is within sunken panels on three of the sides. It has beveled corners. There are some nice bubbles. There are no chips or cracks. Slocum and he was selling four other products: Slocum's Plasters, Slocum's Coltsfoot Expectorant, Slocum's Oxygenated Cod Liver Oil and Psychine. Around 1880, Thomas Slocum formulated his most popular medicine, Ozomulsion.a flesh forming food. The sales of this medicine peaked about the turn of the century.
