Description: Antique Majolica Overlapping Green Vine Border- Registration Mark Of 1851- U.K.. I Believe This Is A Majolica By The Registration Mark And Likely Part Of The 1851 Opening Fair Of Its Big Comeback. If I’m Reading The Mark Correct This Plate Was Registered February 7th 1851 And Contained 7 Bundles. However Not Signed By Maker So A Handful To Pick From, Maybe Someone Will Recognize The Work. Rd In Stamp Middle, P &G For Letters And 7&7 On Left For Numbers. View Pictures Well As Part Of The Description - In One Photo A Gray Spot On The Back Which Is My Camera Reflection. The Only Defect I Could Find On This Old Plate If You Blow Up By The Vine Border Is A Super Fine Craze Line But Not Rough Or Scratch. Not Visible Just Looking At It. Plate Is 9” x 9 1/2 As The Leaf Border Overlaps Out A 1/2 “ . It Weighs 1.17 Lbs And Thick Sturdy. Unusual Pattern Which I Could Not Locate Another One Like It To Compare. Any Questions Just Message, Ty : )
