Lilley, this listing is for an antique copper printing plate that was intended for use to print illustrations in old fraternal regalia catalogs. The 3” x 5 ⅝” copper plate pictures an elderly shepherds holding a punched tin lantern. The copper plate was never mounted to a wood backing and was stored in its original envelope. The printing plate is in Excellent condition with a few minor green spots, and the envelope is VG with wear & soiling from storage. The shepherd's crook is clipped - as made. I did not polish the copper because it has a deep red/brown patina that only comes with decades of sitting unused. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions. See my other listings.
