Description: Offering an original antique Victorian wax floral bouquet arrangement inside the original glass vase, displayed on the original wooden base, underneath the glass dome, or cloche. The wax flowers consist mainly of roses and calla lilies. This has been in my personal collection for the past 20 years. I have been downsizing my collection which includes many Victorian shadow boxes and glass domes. This arrangement is made of various wax flowers and some fabric leaves. It is very densely filled with flowers and the whole bouquet can be removed in one piece. It is separate from the antique gold-rimmed faceted glass vase, so it can be well-packed separately from the glass dome for safe travel. The glass has a stable chip and crack that is hidden because the bouquet of flowers mostly covers the vase. The original dark red chenille rope is there to wrap around the glass as seen. Measurements are taken from the outside of the dome: Glass dome and footed wooden base approximately 13" tall by 13" across. The entire arrangement inside the dome is 9" tall by 12" across. It measures 11" deep. It is difficult to find wax examples from the mid-19th century intact and in good condition, due to bad storage and extreme temperature changes in their stored environment .
