Description on the "Brass Presentation Plate" says: "Indian Bow And Arrow; Original Cheyenne Bow and arrow dating to the 1880s to 1890s. It once belonged to T.C. Powers of Montana who successfully operated a Trading Post at several Forts during the 19th century. The bow was given to T.C. Powers by the Governor of Montana, Joseph Toole (1901 - 1907).
