The item is from an estate liquidation. The item is not marked by a maker. I do not know the maker or the origin (see photos). This item measures in total about 3.5 inches high, it is about 6 inches from the front side to the back edge and it is about 10 inches wide from side to side at the widest point. The inkwell has a great decorative style (see photos). The inkwell could be polished (by you) to a bright and shiny finish.
