Description: Antique Ottoman Anatolian Jacket Bright Pink with White Stripes Hand Embroidery Collector’s Item Bright Pink traditional jacket with white stripes, yellow embroidery and patchwork inside front part of the arms. Part of a traditional bridal/celebration costume in mid 1950s in Anatolia, Turkey for celebrations, ceremonies and in small towns. This jacket was used to be worn with traditional Anatolian shalvar (baggy trousers). This one of a kind jacket was passed down through my family and was preserved in a family dowry chest. Made in Central Turkey/ Anatolia. Please see photos in details for stains on the arm and a small rip on the back. No reparations were made to keep the original conditions. This is a collector's item for private collections or museum displays for historical costumes from Middle East/ Anatolia.
