Description: This circa 1900 Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 2’2“ x 4‘6“. If you split this rug horizontally across the middle, you will see a mirror image at both ends, consisting of blue spotted deer, a brown colored tree with blue leaves and a bird in flight in two shades of blue. At the bottom corners left and right are two sides of a valley. On the right is a blue design and the left has a blue, brown and ivory design. What looks like a snail is crawling between them. All is on an ivory ground. The minor border has a Greek key motif in ivory and two shades of blue. The major border consists of rhomboids in two shades of blue, brown, and ivory on an ivory ground. This rug is 99% perfect. It is full pile with complete and sides. It is clean and ready to go.
