Description: Antique Qajar Enamel on Copper Kashkul Bowl c.1800'sThis is a fired enamel on heavy gauge copper kashkul bowl in coco-de-mer form, probably circa mid 1800's. There are also traces of gilding, the enamelling is both champleve & very finely hand painted with a turquoise enamelled interior. I have not been able to find any similar examples so I would imagine this is a pretty rare artwork, certainly museum quality.CONDITION some loss to the turquoise enamel on the interior & a couple of losses to the enamel on the exterior but overall in good order as per imagesThe overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.DIMENSIONSLength 18.5cmWidth 11.2cmDepth 8.6cmWeight 536gPOSTAGE - see postage & payments tab for prices- I combine items for shipping wherever possible.- I charge only the actual cost of the postage & packaging materials, I do not charge a handling fee.- Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.- Items will be sent to your Paypal registered address.
