Description: This antique patented self pouring teapot is a true Victorian collectors gem. Made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield in England, United Kingdom, for JJ Royles of Manchester, it features the patented pump action piston, to pour tea without having to lift the pot from the table. The teapot is made of pewter in a reeded globular shape, the design has the iconic swan neck spout and loop handle. The inside has a filter strainer for the tea leaves.
