Description: Beautiful antique plate "Louise" from J&C Bavaria (Jaeger & Co.) made 1898-1923. This was from a series of plates, with a scalloped edge, fruit patterns. This particular plate measures 8.5 in and is hand painted with 2 apples hanging from a branch, and two cherries on the opposite side. Edge is scalloped and gilded, and the plate colors are pink, yellow and green. Very nice condition with no chips or marks, however some of the gilt on the edge is lightly worn. There are two marks on the back which appear to be paint under the glaze. Please see photos, and ask any questions before purchase.
