Description: Antique Conta & Bochme Porcelain Fairing Box Jester on Fireplace, Germany, 4.5” there is a hairline crack in the circle frame, see pics and I don’t know if the jester was glued or if that’s how the piece was made. These flaws do not detract from the Beauty or Function of the piece and are expected w/ something this old, I suspect it’s from the 1900s. The detail of the animal figures flanking the fireplace and the original paint on the jester are gorgeous so it’s easy to forgive any flaws.
