Description: Swans on Lake are decorative porcelain footed candy dish made 1901-1932 by Johann Seltmann of Vohenstrauss, Bavaria. This is a gorgeous footed bowl with intact feet and is gilded. The swan motif is highly desirable. The older this gets the less and less of these there will be, so don't miss the opportunity to own this beautiful rare find! There is a blemish inside the bowl (pictured), but the paint is not missing from that area so I am not sure if it happened while the piece was being made or afterward. Upon close inspection, it appears there are a tiny scratches but they are not obvious. Please review the photos. Both are stamped JPSV and crossed swords mark, one in blue, the other green. This mark was used from 1901 to 1932.
