Description: This antique,1886, manufactured by Stowell Co., Putney, Ct., folding table is loaded with lots of marks, scratches, and aging over the years with lots of character and a beautiful patina. The hand painted checkerboard is just gorgeous,with an intricate painted edge. The checkerboard is 11 1/2" x 10 x 10 1/2". The edge of the table has a very pretty 1/2" bevel. The table top is 30" x 18 3/4". The height is 26". All the bottom pieces are in very good working condition and folds up nicely. I purchased this table at an auction about 20 years ago and hung it on a wall in my game room and moved it around. It's like a piece of art and would be great in a cabin or in your farm house designing.This will packaged carefully.
