The striking color is known blue though it’s a lovely opalescent finish sparkles bouncing off different colors through the day! This dish is very hard to come by and I hope to see it go to a loving home. The pop of blueish turquoise really livens up any living space. Perfect size for holding your favorite small sweets. You can also decorate your vanity, to hold jewelry or bath soaps. This one has a really lovely opalescent “ring of fire” that can be seen well in sunlight; giving off shades of blue, purple, and a golden glow. So much to appreciate in person! The pineapple has long been a symbol of hospitality. This one was produced in France between 1800’s - 1900’s and is especially desirable by collectors as they are extremely hard to find intact. This one is in excellent antique condition, without any repairs or cracks. Any variation in the coloring may have occurred during the production process. All PV glassware was made by hand, using a glass melting process. Each piece is unique in its own way. This one was beautifully crafted and will look exceptional in your living space!
