Description: Have a look at the photos for condition and for what’s included, and feel free to inquire. According to my research, this dutch-oven, which bears the “arc-logo”, dates to the earliest days of Wagner cast-iron cookware manufacture. This marking was used from 1891 to 1910, according to the Wagner collector site, Bonnie Hicks. The oven had some rust, mostly on the inside, which I did a quick cleaning on, and it will need a more thorough cleaning, and seasoning, by the new owner. The pot features an unusual heat-ring that is flush with the bottom. They just created a recess around the edge to form the heat-ring. It sits perfectly flat and the lid also sits flat and snugly on the pot. It measures 12” diameter by 5” tall. The bale is in terrific shape as well. This is a must-have for any serious Wagner-Ware collector. It weighs about 13 lbs before packaging. There is no damage, cracks or chips, just the aforementioned rust.
