Description: This unique antique silver metal repousse box is done in a hunting scene. The top features a stag calling towards a doe and the sides feature multiple deer and fowl as well as hares and a fox in various woodland settings. The box is lined with newer dark blue silk velvet and it is in excellent condition. The box itself is also in good condition with the following flaws: the lock has been broken at one point, leaving a rough edge on the inside lid. The box is unmarked. It is a perfect example of a hunting box with lots of appeal.Measurements are: 7 1/8" by 4 5/8" and 4" tall.
