Description: 21-267 Today we're offering a beautiful antique RS Prussia Sugar Bowl and Creamer Set, mold number 540a as pictured in Mary Frank Gaston's "RS Prussia Second Series" book. This set bears the red mark from the 1870's - 1880's and ended up getting "double-marked" (see pics). A bit of a mark "anomaly". This set has a "Tiffany Iridescent finish" and is decorated with pink roses all around each piece. The background is white with teal green and gold gilt. It's a frilly, feminine art nouveau design. The sugar bowl measures 5.5" inches tall to the top of the finial and the creamer is 4.5" tall. They are in very nice condition with the exception of a couple of areas on the interior of the creamer's spout. There is a shallow chip on the interior of the spout and a very hairline crack on the interior of the other side of the spout. Both are barely noticeable and does not detract from it in any way. There is some gold loss here and there as is usual for a set of this age. * No hassle returns - buyer pays return shipping.
