Description: For sale is a Slide Top Herb Box in the original red paint. It is an Antique dating, I believe from the early 1800’s. I purchased it from the noted well known antique dealer, Thomas Queen about 40 years ago. I know he really likes Shaker but I can’t remember if this is an example of that. It is all original with dovetailed ends and a chamfered or beveled lid. The box is 9.5” x 6.5” and it is 2.5” tall. It is a real one of a kind treasure.
