About 2-5/8” long. Marked sterling.I know what this is. Men whose shirt is too tight at the top when the shirt is fully buttoned could use this allow the user to leave the top button unbuttoned and give additional distance by using the round end to go through the buttonhole and the other side with the clip would be secured on the opposite side of the shirt. This was to be used at the very top button of the shirt. These have someone’s initials etched in them “W.O.B.”.
