Description: This antique book, "Stories From Homer" comes in acceptable (fair) condition, with the front hinge split and the front flyleaf torn out, spine and cover shading and wear (mostly at corners), a library notice pasted inside the front cover, intact binding that has loosened fromage, yellowing of the pages, and additional handling wear and soiling (see pictures). The book was written by Rev. Alfred J. Church, illustrated by Flaxman, and published by Dodd, Mead & Company (no date present). It has an ornate embossed and gilt embellished cover, and contains 19 of the original 20 color plates (missing frontspiece).
