Made from the finest ivory cotton Liberty tana lawn and trimmed with pretty ivory cotton English lace. This petticoat has three rows of pin tucks above the very pretty lace edge. The bodice front has a band of ribbon backed eyelet lace at centre, with a single pin tuck each side and ribbon threaded lace on back bodice. Lace trims the neck edge and armholes. Fastened at the back with four shell buttons. Silk ribbon bows decorate neck, waist and skirt.The matching pants or pantaloons have the same pretty lace edge, insertion lace and pin tucks. Fastened at the back waist with a silk ribbon tie. Silk ribbon bows. All seams and edges are finished with a french seam or ribbon tape.
