Given as a gift to a student from a teacher (Geo B. Cochrane), the miniature book has a an inscription written at the back, "For Punctual Attendance, Good Conduct, and Studiousness" for the 1862-1863 winter term. In over all good condition, the vintage book shows wear consistent with its age and use including fading to the the textured cover and light toning to the pages.
